Great location! This place is super close to the Orange river, the town, and dining spots. 🌟

Large and well-equipped room with breakfast, had a good stay. Location: the hotel was close to the river in the middle of town, South Africa, and banks of river. I ate at the outdoor restaurant near the venue.

everything was really good, no complaints whatsoever, i couldn't recommend more it. thanks all for a perfect stay with two more nights. all the staff were superfriendly.

The staff were competent and everything was very good. The room was new-fashioned and had 4 beds. The hotel's location is comfy and unbeatable, just a short walk to the Orange river and the main business area.

I had a very comfortable stay at Protea Hotel By Marriott Upington for two nights. I truly enjoyed its favorable location, very close to the town center, the Orange River, and the main business area. Additionally, it is conveniently located near the airport in Upington.

We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel. The location is perfect, right next to the river in the middle of town, and very close to the main business area. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, from the cleaning ladies to the receptionist. They even accommodated our request for a room with a river view without any extra cost. The room itself was stunning, beautifully set out, and very spacious, with an awesome bathroom. We loved the variety of choices offered at breakfast, which was out of this world. The bunnies ornaments scattered throughout the hotel were a lovely touch. a 10 out of 10 experience.

We highly recommend this place to everyone.

Nothing could have been better.

The Christmas decorations were tasteful and created a festive atmosphere. The pool area was clean and well-maintained, providing a refreshing escape from the heat. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops and restaurants.

The room was not properly cleaned, with dust and hair on the surfaces. The noise from other guests was disruptive and made it difficult to sleep.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel located near the heart of town and just a short drive from the airport. the river view from our room was simply stunning, and the breakfast spread was absolutely delicious! the room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was really well-appointed with great amenities. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and we enjoyed spending afternoons lounging by the pool.

We did experience a slight delay checking in, but it was quickly resolved by the attentive staff.

The festive period was a great time spent with loved ones. We enjoyed complementary drinks on arrival and complimentary breakfast during our stay. the hotel had a great view of the river and was conveniently located close to a nearby restaurant.

There was a lack of soundproofing in the room as noise from the busy road and neighboring rooms caused disturbances to our sleep. the swimming pool was uninviting and disappointing due to its small size and location.

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel, with a comfortable room and friendly staff. The highlight was the warm, inviting shower that provided a refreshing start to our day.

I had an amazing stay with amazing river view and cozy room. The staff was friendly and professional, and the breakfast bacon was grilled to perfection. This hotel is centrally located right next to the river and main business area, with safe and easy parking.

I was actually surprised by the warm and friendly staff at Protea Hotel. They went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food was excellent, especially the milkshakes which were divine. The room wassuper clean and cozy, providing a home away from home experience. The central location and safe parking were also a plus. Despite a few drawbacks, overall I would highly recommend this hotel.
